imthinkingthoughts:

The easiest way to make a difference in the environment is to purchase a reusable bag. They cost .99 cents and hold way more than regular plastic bags. Over 1,000,000,000,000 (1 trillion) plastic bags are used each year. It would be so easy to cut that in half. It is .99 cents. You will have made a difference. Lets say you go grocery shopping once a week and use three plastic bags. Usually, a single reusable bag will hold all those groceries and frankly it is much easier to carry. 3x52=156. It might not seem like much compared to the trillion that are being consumed, but picture 156 bags lying around your house. Would you enjoy dragging your feet through those piles of plastic? And you know what? Tell a friend to buy one too. 212 bags saved, 1.98 spent.
You get what I’m saying…go buy a bag so that when the world inevitably goes under you’ll know you did what you could to save it.
